Abstract

Women are susceptible to assault due to biological, social, and economic circumstances. Given that most perpetrators of sexual crimes seek victims with minimal risk and cost, women become ideal targets for them. On the other hand, women are not passive victims in the process of crime and sometimes play a significant role. Therefore, adopting intelligent and selective preventive strategies for Afghan women is crucial to protect vulnerable individuals from sexual assault. Since Afghan women have generally not received self-defense training, implementing preventive measures to safeguard them can have a significant impact in combating crimes against them.
